Inside of the Egg
Commissioned by Elephant Family, I am honored to design this very special egg for The Fabergé Big Egg Hunt. My egg ‘One Eye Wide Shut’ will join another 200 eggs crafted by leading London artists and designers for a grand egg hunt in this EASTER!
Don’t forget to say hello to my designed egg if you are around Covent Garden !

Outside & Inside, Spectator & The Spectacle. A finite Egg could contains an infinite vision. While creating the egg, my intension is meant to creating moments of a sense of self-consciousness of existence within a particular environment or ambience by inviting visitors to look into the Egg from the hole pierced in it that fit with only one eye, while keeping their another eye wide shut. The Egg is filled with a mirrored egg and LED lights. Viewers can see part of themselves integrated as the whole colourful combinations and changing shapes of The Spectacle, like a kaleidoscope.
With special thanks to Tina Chen, Lucy Frank, Members from Arch 35 and Elephant Family
Happy hunting!
